My background is in leisure, sport and hospitality, where I developed my skills as a retail marketer who understands the power of people to drive brand performance.
During my 30+ year career, I have experienced just about every form of organisational context from FTSE 100, to public sector, to privately owned SME. In this time, I have learned a lot about leadership, culture and what a great team looks like.
I am passionate about developing people, organisational culture and the role of managers and leaders in shaping this ultimate powerhouse for competitive advantage.
I have been successfully running my own business for over 10 years now and am an accredited practitioner with Seventh Wave and Emergenetics. When not delivering workshops, you’ll find me lecturing on marketing at Oxford Brookes University, tutoring postgraduates with Cambridge Marketing College, authoring study guides and running between the wickets at my local cricket club in Tring, Hertfordshire. I take inspiration from the many wonderful people I work with, but particularly from my two children, Ellie & Matt, and my wife Jules.
